(Music and Dancing of the Gaels)
Song List
Music and dancing was a large part of the Gaelic lifestyle and culture.
It was a way to pass the time while performing manual labor, and
indeed often a task was 'driven' by the beat the music.
We are working on compliling a list of Irish and Scots songs that
are appropriate for the period. Our list as it currently stands
is below. We will continue to add to it as we find new songs.
For the moment we only have the lyrics, but we hope the have proper
sheet music and mp3 recordings of all of the songs that we list
here.
